In daily life, we often come across calcium silicate boards. However, regarding the installation methods of these boards, most people may have relatively little knowledge about them. So, the editor will introduce them to you
.
1. Usually, the Hexing silicate board used as a partition wall is arranged longitudinally, that is, the long side of the board rests on the vertical keel.
2. When the boards are joined, they should naturally approach each other and should not be forcibly positioned.
3. Special attention should be paid to the arrangement of the boards at the door and window areas. Pay attention that the board joints should not be located on the keels parallel to the door frame or window frame, in order to avoid cracking of the joints due to the frequent opening and closing of doors and windows.
4. Both long sides of the Xingxing silicate board have been chamfered. If the wall height is higher than 2440mm, the short side for horizontal jointing of the board must be chamfered on-site (beveled into a slanted edge with a width of approximately 25mm) to better handle the joints.
5. Draw lines and mark the fixing points of the board. At the same time, make drilling holes (the hole diameter is slightly larger than the screw head by 1-2mm, and the hole depth is 1-2mm). The distance between the fixing points and the board corner is 40-55mm, and the spacing between the fixing points is 250-300mm.
6. When fixing the silicate board, the board and the keel should be drilled in conjunction. The hole diameter should be 1mm smaller than the screw diameter. When using self-drilling screws, fix from the middle of the board to the periphery, and all screw heads should be sunk 1mm into the board surface. During tightening, the board must be firmly nailed to the keel.
